LOOP LEAGUE PARENT INFORMATION

Loop League is an introductory Commonwealth Figure Skating Club membership designed for the skater who is transitioning from a USFS Learn to Skate program into a more ambitious figure skating development track. The Loop League Junior Membership has been created to support skaters who are tentative about full membership commitment. Loop League membership includes the cost of one skating session per week and entitles members to contract and pick-up additional ice sessions at member rates as well as the opportunity to participate in the club’s Holiday and Ice Capers shows. Enrollment in Loop League is limited, and is based on passing USFS Basic Skills Level 3. Loop League is a single year opportunity, as the membership includes significant discounts on ice sessions.

ICE SESSIONS Loop League’s seasonal membership cost includes the cost of one ice session per week. Loop League members may elect any weekday freestyle session as their standing contracted session. They may also elect to contract or pick up additional weekday ice sessions at Club member rates. Each Loop League skaters is required to have a minimum 15-minute lesson with a professional coach per session to support skating development and to ensure safety on the ice while skating with the more advanced skaters.

PRO LESSONS Loop League members arrange lessons directly with their individual coach. The CFSC Club Pro Liaison is happy to assist parents in aligning pro staff as needed.

TESTING/COMPETITIONS Loop Leaguers are not eligible for USFS testing beyond the Basic Skills Test Track. Once a skater has passed the Basic Skills track, Full club membership is the natural progression. Full club members are eligible for all USFS testing and competitions.
